Well...
First of all, this is not new at all. Linux and Mac already have touch screen fancy desktops managers, it's widely available on blackboards (actually white) on every English school and the advertising is cheating (or do you think it can really distinguish a drink from an empty cup?)
Additionally:
- the software have no general interface, it was just a demo and won't work anywhere
- it was a recorded demo (how many times they tried?) and it will crash in it's first public appearance following Microsoft's legacy
- the woman doing the demo was extra careful with her fingers, I doubt the interface was good enough for the general public
- move and resize windows? click on a map? "write" email? pleeaasssee! It was revolutionary in the 80's not now.
Now for the good part:
- the advertising is good, it makes me want to buy a drink... wait, was it a drink or a pub advertising? I'm confused...
